The location was excellent, for example, Faias de Sao Lourenco was just a short stroll away from the hotel. The room was reasonably priced with balcony looking back over manteigas, I felt comfortable there...

Title: Perfect for a Family Getaway
My wife says that having a babysitting service would have been a great addition for families with young children.

We had an amazing stay at Vale Do Zezere! The room may seem basic, but we found it to be comfortable and had everything we needed. The highlight of our stay was the hidden gem of a restaurant. The local food they served was absolutely extraordinary, and the service was excellent. The location of the hotel in Serra da Estrela Natural Park also made it a great starting point for our hikes. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

The hotel's restaurant served authentic Portuguese dishes made with regional produce, allowing me to indulge in delicious local cuisine. The bar provided a wide selection of drinks, helping me unwind after a long day of exploring.
I never thought I would miss having a phone in my room, but not having one definitely added to the adventure of my stay.

We definitely got great value for our money at Vale Do Zezere. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and the staff treated us like friends, providing helpful recommendations and a warm welcome.
Breakfast offerings could use a bit more variety and freshness, especially when it comes to the bread.

Spacious rooms with a balcony featuring views of Manteigas were a delightful surprise. Exiting onto the balcony felt like stepping into a painting, with the picturesque town spread out before me. It was sheer bliss to relax there, soaking in the breathtaking scenery and sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

The hotel was mind-blowing, with new furniture and a stunning decor filled with plants and flowers. The rooms were super comfortable and spacious, offering great views and quiet air conditioning. The staff, although not speaking English, were incredibly friendly and helpful in planning hiking activities. The restaurant had a superior menu with amazing cooking, and the service was flexible and accommodating. The bath was a decent size with a walk-in shower. Parking was convenient right at the entrance. The hotel's location was ideal for hiking, with a trail starting right at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and generous. our stay was jaw-dropping and we only wished we could have stayed longer, as the hotel was fully booked.
